backrooms!

huge fucking fan of kane's original series so i was already in the bag for this as soon as it was announced but wow am i still beyond blown away by how well he translated his style to the big screen and leveled up his storytelling. there are several scenes in this where i genuinely thought my heart was about to beat right out of my chest; it truly feels like you're witnessing the birth of a new language of horror. knowing this is just the beginning of what we'll see from kane on this canvas makes me so hopeful for the future of film.
