shrinking!

this show is just such a warm hug. in case you haven't noticed, everything kinda Sucks Right Now, but when i watch something like shrinking it takes my mind off all that not by refusing to engage with all things awful entirely, but by reminding me of the good that still exists all around us in spite of it and also how we make peace with everyday pain through love, friendship, and lots (lots) of laughter. one of the best ensembles on television today, and this better be the year they give harrison ford his emmy he's deserved for three seasons now. if you're feeling lost and lonely like so many at the moment, this is a great show to start alleviating some of that sadness :)
